Real Estate Legal Advice Free
If you think that buying a property is tough and tedious process, think again. Selling it is equally harrowing. Of course bypassing an agent and doing it alone would translate into savings, but at what cost. However, instead expressing our opinions in a biased manner, let us actually look at the some pointers, get genuine real estate advice and make a decision.
Statistically Speaking
Data from various sources reveals that only about 10 percent of the homeowners who decide to sell their property on their own are able to do so successfully. Moreover, on an average, an individual seller who has not employed any real estate agent is able to sell the property in a period of nine months. Of course, the figures may be a little different in few states where real estate investors are more active. Thus, 90 percent property owners, who are all on their own, and may be in nine months, either have to entail the services of real estate agents or sell the property at much lower cost than the original valuation. And even if you are able to sell it, you usually end up getting a sore deal, unless you know the buyer directly for a long time. The chances however are slim.
Our Real Estate Advice: You may save 4-6 percent on commission or fees, but a professional real estate agent always tries to get you the best deal. As the higher the property sale price you receive, higher is his or her commission. This does not happen when you are trying to sell it on your own. Most importantly, 9 months is a considerable period in real estate market and things change a lot in that period. A real estate agent does the same job in under 60-90 days.
Availability of Online Tools
Many online portals easily dole out a real estate advice of dumping agents and doing things on your own. The logic they present is simple. When you can hire appraiser, lawyer and advertiser from the comfort of your home and online, why unnecessarily let a real estate agent get part of your hard earned money. True. But do you really know the best real estate attorney in your area? Or for that matter, which is the best appraiser firm or an individual? Can you really rely on online advertisements of these people (lawyers cannot, but appraisers can). And online advertising becomes effective only when it is displayed very prominently on portals. Do you really want to be spending that kind of money on advertising?
Our Real Estate Advice: A successful real estate agent is the one who has been in the business for considerable number of years. This simply means — he or she knows the best people in the business that can do the best job for you. Real estate agents have access to multiple listing systems which no individual seller has. This takes care of the advertising part. Your property is not only known to a huge network of buyers and brokers, you really need not go through the hassles of running from one place to another for placing the advertisements at right places.
If you are still confused and are not able to make a decision, let us help you out by making things more transparent and clearer to you. After all, the best real estate advice can come only from the best in the business. We are just a click away.
